About Path of Diablo
Path of Diablo is a Diablo II community realm built around one goal: widening the range of viable builds while changing as little of the original experience as possible. Ladders run every four to five months, and each one ships with a content and balance patch. Underused skills are rebalanced or replaced, weak unique items are reworked into build-enabling pieces, and new skills such as Freezing Pulse and Flesh Offering expand class options.
Quality-of-life changes include a charm inventory, a doubled stash, games that become permanent after 30 seconds, control-click item transfers, character inspection and automatic party invites. All players share a single realm and ladder, while games can be hosted on one of more than 28 servers worldwide to keep latency low. The project runs a wiki, forums and an active Discord.
Both Diablo II and the Lord of Destruction expansion are required, and the Path of Diablo launcher is used to play.
