The site describes a mix of zombie survival with mutants, crafting, trading, car wars, clan versus clan fights and seasonal events, and mentions special player powers and purpose-built supercars. Influences named by the project include DayZ Standalone, PUBG, Call of Duty, Saints Row and Mad Max.
A Windows launcher of about 20 MB installs the needed components automatically, or players can install MTA manually and connect via the IP list on the Servers page. The site also has top-up and support sections. The Discord community has a few thousand members with dozens online.
