About Datenshi
Datenshi is an osu! private server whose homepage describes four modes, its own pp calculation, ScoreV2 and Relax boards, and free registration. , Taiko and Catch each carry Vanilla, Relax and ScoreV2 boards, while Mania has Vanilla and ScoreV2.
All pp values come from senku, an in-house calculator published under the MIT licence; the site says it was checked against real leaderboard scores and an independent reference implementation with regression tests, and that stored scores are recalculated when the formula changes. Relax uses a flat multiplier per mode that is tuned from player feedback, and Relax records do not appear on the Vanilla board. Connecting is done by launching the client with the devserver flag shown on the homepage.
The news feed shows regular posts, the most recent dated 12 October 2026 about a pp update, and earlier posts about recalculations and a Discord bot. Only a single player was online during our check, so the ladder is quiet, but development appears active.
