About Project Ebonhold
Project Ebonhold reshapes Wrath of the Lich King into a rogue-lite action game inspired by Vampire Survivors. Each run starts at level one, and levelling grants choices called Echoes that define a build. Soul Ashes earned during a run are spent in an account-wide skill tree for permanent gains in damage, survivability and mobility.
Death ends the run but progression carries over, and the goal is to reach and defeat the Lich King. The site offers a player guide, talent calculator, echo builder, skill tree builder, prestige and Soul Ashes leaderboards, an installation guide and a bug tracker, and is available in English, French, German and Spanish. A development roadmap lists planned content, and news posts from June and July discuss the Icecrown Citadel patch and a hardware migration that delayed it.
The team runs closed betas with community members before big releases. The Discord is one of the largest among custom Wrath projects.
