About Titanic

Titanic is a private osu! server that looks backwards rather than forwards. According to its own front page, the project is dedicated to preserving the early days of the game and lets players use client versions from 2008 to 2015 instead of the current build.

Accounts, rankings and beatmaps live on a custom website with a classic layout, including ranked, approved and loved beatmap listings, packs, forums, chat and a wiki maintained by contributors. Besides the usual performance and score tables there is a PPv1 ranking, along with clears, first places and kudosu boards, which reflect the older scoring eras. The project describes itself as fully open source and open to contributions.

The status API reports several thousand registered users and more than a million plays in total, with a handful of players online at any given time, so matches are quieter than on the large relax servers. The linked Discord is the main place for installation help, and the site has dedicated Download, Installation and Patcher pages in its wiki.
