What CPs and TQ points mean
In Conquer Online, CPs stands for Conquer Points, the premium currency. TQ Digital is the game's developer, and players often search for "TQ points" when they mean the same thing. The official site describes Conquer Online as a free-to-play MMORPG, so the currency question mostly arises in the shops that sit around the game.
Private servers copy the idea but not always the rules. Some give CPs away for voting, some sell them, and some ban players for asking for them. If you are comparing realms, start from the Conquer Online private servers list and use this page to read each server's shop policy. Other terms are in the glossary.

How listed servers handle CPs
There is no single model. The sites we checked fall into three groups: servers that sell points for real money, servers that mostly hand CPs out through gameplay, and servers that say they have no pay-to-win shop.
Because wording varies, it helps to separate three things: the premium currency (CPs), the in-game money (Gold or silver, depending on the server), and any separate site coins or donor points. Mixing them up is the most common way new players misjudge a shop.
| Server | Patch | What its site states |
|---|---|---|
| Iron Lotus CO | 5095 | Donor points at $1 each in packs of 5, 10 and 20; paid by PayPal or card; "No selling CPs outside the game" |
| Void Conquer | 6609 | Daily vote gives 200M CPs, 200M Gold and 500 ChampPts; asking GMs for free donated CPs is forbidden |
| TalesCO | Classic custom | "Free to play with no pay-to-win shop"; a Donation link exists but gives no terms |
| TQ Twin City | Classic | VIP system with teleport shortcuts, a web store and donation filters on rankings; no prices shown |
| CO Preservation Project | 5065 | Shop link and a free VIP offer on Discord; no CP policy described |
| Aurenfall | Classic | Item Shop linked; Dragonballs and Meteors described as earned, not bought in its second world |
The pattern is clear: the same abbreviation can mean a scarce paid item on one server and a large number you receive for voting on another. On Void Conquer, 200M CPs per vote only makes sense because the economy there is scaled up, so the figures are not comparable across realms.
Reading a donation shop before you pay
- 1
Find the shop terms
Look for a rules or terms page. Iron Lotus, for example, states that purchases use your account name rather than a character name and that you claim points in the game from a Prize Officer.
- 2
Check what is sold
VIP perks and cosmetics are different from power. TalesCO says its shop is not pay-to-win, and you can compare that claim with the items listed.
- 3
Look for transfer rules
Iron Lotus bans selling CPs outside the game, and Void Conquer lists a permanent ban for begging. Trading rules decide whether bought points keep value.
- 4
Start with the smallest amount
Servers can reset. See understanding server wipes and treat any first purchase as spent.
- 5
Keep your account safe
Use a unique password and read the private server safety guide before entering card details.
A separate account is also sensible. The CO Preservation Project tells players to create a new account rather than use official Conquer Online credentials, and the same habit protects you if a small server's web panel is poorly secured. Our guide to joining a private server walks through registration and the client download.
Selling CPs versus giving them away
Shop-led economy
- Points are bought with money, as on Iron Lotus at $1 per donor point
- Rules usually ban outside resale
- Spending decisions matter more than playtime
Gameplay-led economy
- Points arrive through voting, drops or events, as on Void Conquer
- Begging staff for free items is punished
- Progress follows playtime and guild activity
Rates, drops and CP value
CPs are tied to the rest of the economy. Drop rates change how many CPs a player sees, and Conquer 2012 notes that its drops include random CPs, while Frozen Conquer lists 2x drops. Experience rates matter too: Iron Lotus runs 50x EXP while keeping spell and proficiency at 1x so players "actually train".
| Server | Rate information | Why it matters for CPs |
|---|---|---|
| Iron Lotus CO | 50x EXP, 1x spell and proficiency | Quick levels, so shop spending shifts to gear and perks |
| Gravak | 5x EXP on patch 5065 | Slower levels keep CP income small |
| Void Conquer | Season restarts; gear equalised to +8 at the October 2026 start | A reset removes banked CPs, so avoid early spending |
| Frozen Conquer | 2x drops, 3x mining | Mining and drops feed the economy |
For the numbers behind phrases like x50, read understanding server rates. To compare how realms are built, the patch 5095 page groups servers on one popular classic base, and how to choose a private server covers the rest of the checklist.
